Country club memberships near me is the search you run when you want a private club you can actually use on a Tuesday after work. If that “near me” is Marlboro, the surrounding towns, or anywhere you can reasonably reach in Monmouth County, Bella Vista Country Club is the local private option at 100 School Road East, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
Bella Vista is a family-owned club founded in 1995 by the Beshara family. The live site calls it a hidden gem of Monmouth County: unpretentious, socially welcoming, and built around an 18-hole private course plus a clubhouse you will use for dinner as often as golf. Call 732-308-4600 and ask for Anthony Beshara to book a tour and a trial tee time. Current 2026 plans and fees live on the membership page; Full and Weekday figures currently conflict there, so confirm every number with the club.
Where “near me” actually is
The club sits in Marlboro, Monmouth County. The address is on every live page header: 100 School Road East, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Office, golf, pro shop, restaurant, and range hours are on the contact page. The club is closed Mondays.
That location is the product. A country club membership you never use is just a bill. The useful test for a “near me” search is whether you will play, practice, or eat here often enough to justify a plan. Drive the property once. Walk the clubhouse. Play a trial round. Then match a named 2026 plan to how often you will actually show up.
Bella Vista is a private club. Membership is how you get regular golf and clubhouse access. Catering and weddings are published as open to non-members, which is a different door than joining. If you want the course, the range, lockers, and the member social calendar, you join.
What you are joining when the club is this close
The course tour lists an 18-hole private layout, Par 70, 5,923 yards — use that figure. Two PGA professionals staff the pro shop. The driving range and putting green require check-in with the pro shop; proper golf attire is mandatory. See driving range NJ for practice rules.
The clubhouse is about 22,000 square feet, with fine dining, a full-service grill, indoor and outdoor seating, and private rooms. The event pavilion can host up to 300 guests. The remodeled Excelsior Room holds up to 250. The Chef’s Table in the Crystal Room is set for 8–24 guests, with reservations required seven days in advance. Lunch and dinner menus live under dining.
Published facilities are golf, practice, dining, events, lockers, and instruction. Bella Vista does not publish tennis, a swimming pool, pickleball, a fitness center, or a golf simulator. If your “country club memberships near me” list assumes those extras, compare amenity lists honestly — ours is in country club amenities.
2026 plans that match how often you will play locally
Do not clone a national club’s tier names onto this property. The official named plans on the membership page are:
- Full Membership — unlimited golf and exclusive early tee times Tuesday through Sunday. Built for the local golfer who will use weekday mornings and weekend early times.
- Weekday Membership — unlimited golf Tuesday through Friday, plus six weekend rounds at prevailing green fees. Fits people whose weekends are already full.
- Casual Golfer — pay when you play, about 20 rounds a year, with dining and social access year-round. Friday–Sunday tee times start at 10:30 AM as published.
- Casual Golfer Introductory — exclusively offered at Bella Vista; copy describes no dues, no food minimums, and no commitments, with pay-when-you-play golf.
- Swing Away — learn-to-play for men, ladies, and juniors with PGA lessons, a short set of rounds, range access, and dining as listed.
Full and Weekday also list practice access, bag-drop greeting, club and shoe cleaning, VIP dining reservations, and a club charge account, with optional dependent privileges for a spouse, significant other, and children under 21 at the same address. Casual is the published dining-and-lifestyle path if golf is limited; it is not a separately priced zero-golf social SKU. Read social membership at a country club and junior golf membership if those are your household.
This page will not print fees. The membership page is the inventory, and Full/Weekday figures conflict on it. Confirm with the club at 732-308-4600.
How to evaluate Bella Vista as your local club
A near-me decision is a calendar decision. Ask:
- Will I play enough midweek golf to need Full or Weekday, or am I a Casual-pace golfer?
- Will my household use dining, holiday events, bocce, men’s doubles, or Fore Women Only / Sipp & Swing?
- Do I want lessons with the two PGA professionals, or a learn-to-play path through Swing Away?
- Am I comparing a private 18 to public golf I already like — and is the clubhouse the reason to switch?
Then take the published join path: read membership options, tour the clubhouse and course, play a trial round if golf is the decision, and apply. Step-by-step detail is on how to join a country club. The live membership and application pages do not require a member sponsor.
